The communication specifies that during what it describes as a clean-up operation on Monday, with support of Cameroonian troops, they also recovered six AK47 assault rifles, two FN automatic rifles, abundant park and two motorcycles. According to the military side at the cleansing operation, the troops of the 153rd Brigade eliminated Boko Haram members ‘infiltrated in the villages of Bulakeisa, Tumbuma Babba, Abbaganaram and Dan Baure, among others’. That group, one of the most painful thorns on the side of the Nigerian government, also operates in Cameroon, Niger, Chad and Mali. The area known as the Great Lakes region comprises Rwanda, Burundi, and Uganda and segments of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, and Kenya.
